A-B Spectrum Sweeping

While waiting for parts to populate a C board, work was done on BBB native spectral analysis/sweeping software.  The following is a screen capture of a simple java application that configures the BBB application to sweep in frequency and displays the results.  All signal processing is done on the BBB.  Spectrum is limited to a subset of the FM broadcast band due to lack of image rejection filtering.

The peaks at 90.5, 91.3, 92.1, 93.1, 94.5 and 95.7 MHz are clear (and are indeed local broadcast stations, all of which were audio sampled in the previous SDR post).  Each frequency step samples 250kHz (chosen to select the center of the IF filter at 1MSPS)
